An Engagement Affair

It was my hubby's younger sister engagement on the 1st day of CNY this year. Much to be done, I slept around 3 a.m. fulfilling my duties as the uncertified wedding gift decorator. This is the 3rd time I did it, with the previous 2 I've lost it pics but it was my 1st time indeed making the sireh junjung, hoping by the end of the day it turns out beautiful. After seeing the final product, with no ikebana or what not ways of flower decoration, the end product is not too bad after all. :). A big pat on my back. :D

My early ideas were to use blossom of patch like what I've seen in Martha Stewart's web but time does not permit me to have such luxury. I tried as much as possible to make everything looks sweet & simple to my liking of course & perhaps to the bride to be. Perhaps something better during the wedding itself. Oh, and I've seen something refreshing for the sireh junjung version, roses arrangement. Have never seen it for real & therefore can't really say whether it is easy or soooo complicated to make.
