I took a deep breath and pause, reminiscing series of events that have had taken place in life for the past 2 years. Certainly life enriching experiences. After 2 months ++ baby Nur starts to turn herself, lays on her tummy and seems like she'll begin to crawl soon.
Mak always said that she felt as it was just yesterday when I introduced hubby to her which happened right after I came back in October 2008. What followed after that were my engagement and wedding. For so many reasons, I understand why Mak expressed that. Being the youngest & her utmost biggest responsibility her concern was that I would never find my Mr Right.
I still recall one late afternoon when hubby was not around, me Mak & Abah sat together at our usual pot at the front lane of our house. Mak said (of course in Malay la...) :
"Harap harap panjang la umur nak tengok anak Ina"
"Hopefully our age is prolonged so that we can see Ina's child"
I'm glad her wishes came true. For us, we felt the same too as we are blessed with our bundle of joy along with other things in between as mentioned in my post here.
