A Movie and A Trip

Tuesday, October 20, 2009

Watched this last Friday, didn't have much expectation but it turned out to be a good night out and good selection of movie. After emptying hubby's pocket for my steak craving, we headed to my PIL house for a short nap before rushing to the cinema to watch Papadom.Amazingly, this movie of Afdlin managed to attract a large of crowd to the cinema... I would say the storyline is simple but it was filled with humor and captured the reality of life in a way. Eventhough am not sure if there are any fathers who would do that, perhaps... that is what a father intend to do if they are allowed to... We went home my our eyes half closed and huahgggg, yawning... countlessly.

We headed to Pahang the next day, with no plan... I was eyeing for 'Durian', ( I think my baby is craving for exquisite and high taste foods... huhu) and we stopped over at Bentong for a "kampong Durian' which caused me having gas in my stomach and keep on burping , simultaneously emitting the unpleasant smell of Durian. I couldn't stop it, no matter what I ate after that. Hubby decided to stay a night in Fraser's Hill and we had to go through a winding road. Baby must be asking why he/she felt dizzy on that day. Oh! It was because Abi decided to bring you for an adventure and umi on the other hand was a bit tense since she never had such a ride. Anyway, it was a good journey isn't it?

I guess there are so many places in Malaysia itself that I had never been to. My trip to Bukit Malawati (like 10 minutes away from my parents house) only happened during my university years, not to mention about the fireflies area (20 minutes away) which is still in my places to visit list. Somehow I'm glad because rather than going to all of those new places alone, I have hubby to tag along (it is more to the other way around actually) and it will be more memorable and meaningful too. Of each separate journey that I rode on my own, now more to come with the two of us and later three of us.... and later ... huhu, I do not know how many of us.... :)
